Chef/proprietor Fred Beedles prepares the menu on a daily basis using the exceptional ingredients which the local area has to offer.
The small, à la carte menu changes frequently according to the seasons, alongside advice from our local suppliers. All of our meats are produced to high welfare standards and our fish is sourced sustainably.
Over the years Fred has worked in several establishments in the immediate area and has gained good knowledge of local ingredients and has built good working relationships with suppliers.
Since opening The Dining Room in 2010, Fred has begun to showcase his own style of cooking, teaching himself new techniques. With few exceptions, every aspect of your meal will be made on the premises, from the selection of freshly baked breads and clotted cream butter to begin through to the petit fours served with coffee.
The menu comprises a small selection of frequently changing dishes designed to ensure the freshest of ingredients.
